Wallace and Hallston's family tree

Marvin The Kind Wizard
Era: Unknown – Passed the mirrors on in 1880
Marvin was a very kind, wise, and slightly eccentric wizard. As a descendant of the legendary Merlin, he grew up hearing tales of grand adventures with King Arthur! Marvin loved helping people and animals, but he never married or had children of his own. One day, feeling a bit lonely in his workshop, he took two beautiful, hand-crafted panes of glass and wove a spell of companionship into them. He named them Wallace and Hallston. To his surprise, the identical twins developed their own distinct personalities! They were wonderful companions until 1806, when Marvin passed his beloved creations down to his niece, Abigail.

Abigail The Spy
Abigail Era: 1781 – 1880 (Lived to be 99)
No one in Abigail’s family ever suspected it, but she was a top-notch spy! She used her sharp wit to pass on top-secret messages and protect her country. Wallace and Hallston were the secret to her success. To the rest of the world, they looked like ordinary, everyday decorations. But secretly, the magic brothers relayed important conversations and descriptions of enemies directly to Abigail! The twins loved going undercover and keeping her safe. In 1880, at the grand age of 99, Abigail passed the mirrors down to her brave nephew, Captain Seth.

Captain Seth
Era: 1851 – 1952 (Lived to be 101)
Captain Seth was a sailor who loved the wildness of the open sea. As soon as the mirrors were passed to him, he built a special frame to bolt them securely to his cabin wall, right next to the windows. For decades, the twin mirrors helped keep Captain Seth safe by watching out for fierce typhoons, charting unknown waters, and keeping a sharp eye out for sea monsters! Seth kept them by his side on every single voyage until 1952, when at the ripe old age of 101, he passed them on to his beloved great-granddaughter, Lydia.
Meet the family members who lovingly cared for Wallace and Hallston until they ended up at Ms. Betty's Castle Antique Store.

Lydia The Librarian
1932 – 2021 (Lived to be 89)
Lydia was a librarian with a secret identity: she was an operative for a top-secret government agency! Her special skill was decoding ancient languages and hidden maps to locate lost treasures before other countries could. Luckily, she had two undercover helpers on her office wall. Because Wallace and Hallston had been around for centuries, they knew almost everything about ancient history! Visitors just assumed they were ordinary antique mirrors, never guessing the historical secrets they shared with Lydia. Before passing away at 89, she left them to her great-grandson, Kyle.

Kyle Archaeologist
1996 – Missing in 2026
Kyle is an aspiring archaeologist who stays busy studying for his doctorate and interning at historic dig sites. The mirrors loved to tease him about all the dust and dirt he tracked into the house, but they also loved listening to his exciting stories. One evening, Kyle was telling the mirrors he had stumbled upon something that would make him famous! Before he could finish explaining, he got an urgent phone call from his employer and had to leave in a hurry, promising to finish his story when he returned. Sadly, he never returned home. After a few months, his employer boxed up his belongings and sent them to Ms. Betty’s Antique Store for sale to help fund the archeological project Kyle had been working on.
Perhaps Kyle will show up one day to claim Wallace and Hallston?
