The idea for "The Magic Mirror on the Wall Takes a Break" came from a bulletin board I created for the hallway outside my library.  I was trying to think of a Reader's Theater script that would be royalty-free for my students to perform.   As I passed my bulletin board titled, "Mirror on the Wall, Who Helps me Shine Brightest of All?" I got the idea to write a script about two magic mirrors that ended up living at the "Mean Queen's Royal Apartment building.
